(1) Vendor needs to provide shredding and destruction services to the government authority located in Topeka, KS. 1. Document destruction:– Confidential and non–confidential documents and magazine shredding and destruction– Plastics include binders, CD’s, tapes, and disks. Metal includes staples, binders and clips.2. Lottery ticket shredding and destruction:– Provide direction to the lottery on whether lottery tickets will be recycled and if they need to be separated from other paper media documents.3. Electronic equipment, storage devices and hard drive destruction:– Storage devices and hard–drives shall be degaussed then destroyed by pulverization or shredding. degaussing or overwriting shall not be used as the method of destruction.– Electronic equipment, storage devices and hard drives shall be physically destroyed by either shredding or pulverization into fragments to avoid any reconstruction or data extraction.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than March 22, 2024.
