Government Authority located in Lawrence, Kansas; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for athletics event staffing services.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide athletics event staffing services to the government authority located in Lawrence, KS.
- The service shall furnish uniformed event staff personnel to assist in metal detector screening and operation, crowd control, ticket scanning, ushering, limited parking control, and to make reasonable effort to protect property against theft, illegal entry of persons and contraband, damage and destruction by spectators, and other intentional acts of violence.
- These positions are vital to the safety of the student-athletes, coaches, staff, and attendees of events and will only contract with a company who has experience with security at large venues.
- The successful bidder will submit in writing any and all incidents arising on event days to Athletics staff as they occur on event days. Event reports will be due to Kansas Athletics 48 hours after each event.
- All security and event staff supervisors will be adequate in the requested number and radio equipped.
- On-Site Game Operations Coordinator: The on-site coordinator(s) shall be responsible for all aspects of the Company’s event staff operations at the game and shall be available to Athletics Department facilities/event management staff when necessary
- Supervisors: Company shall provide sufficient supervisory personnel to supervise game operations workers.
- Ticket Scanners: The ticket scanners shall scan tickets from fans upon entering through the gates and verify ID’s if necessary. Ticket scanners shall also verify the legitimacy of all credentials and game passes.
- Gate Personnel: The gate personnel shall assist patrons in entering through the appropriate gates to help ensure a smooth traffic flow. Gate personnel shall facilitate the use of walk-through metal detectors, wands, and conduct bag checks to patrons as they enter the stadium.
- Operations Booth Operator: The Operations Booth Operator will receive incoming calls (phone, radio, text messaging service) and delegate to the appropriate department. A log of all incoming calls and resolutions will be kept. This position will serve as the event staff representative in the Operations Booth
- Press Box/Elevator Staff: The press box/elevator staff shall ensure that only those individuals with appropriate credentials are admitted onto the elevator and shall operate the elevator.
(2) All question must be submitted no later than March 29, 2022.

[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be ONsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
