Government Authority located in Topeka, Kansas; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for old town neighbourhood intensive historic resources survey services.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide old town neighbourhood intensive historic resources survey services to the government authority located in Topeka, KS.
- This survey area included a total of 36 city-blocks, and 478 individual properties. The reconnaissance survey also identified two separate areas where an intensive-level historic resource survey (HRS) was recommended to more accurately detail the possibility of historic designation. Although separate, the combination of these two areas recommended for intensive-level survey encompassed the majority of the neighbourhood.
- PRODUCTS:
1. Presentation at one public information meeting to explain the objectives and process of
the project, answer questions, and present survey results. This meeting will be
coordinated City of Topeka Staff, the Topeka Landmarks Commission, and Old Town
neighborhood residents. Determination of the location and method of the presentation to
be determined subject to safety considerations relative to Covid-19 near project
completion.
2. Completion of a digital PowerPoint presentation, or an ESRI StoryMap conveying the
survey results for publication on the City of Topeka Planning & Development
Department’s website.
3. Completion of Intensive Level inventory records for each surveyed resource, uploaded
and entered into the Kansas Historic Resource Inventory Database per the 2021 HPF
Grant Funded Survey requirements.
4. Completion and submission of the Old Town Neighbourhood Historic Survey Report,
consisting of one digital copy, and five (5) printed copies.
[C] Eligibility:
- Onshore (USA Organization Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
