[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide diversity consultant services to the government authority located in Lawrence, KS.
- hire and retain diverse faculty and staff, recruit and retain a diverse class of students, develop student programming to raise awareness of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging issues in the legal practice, and align the Law School’s priorities with the University’s priorities and expectations
- The primary role of the Diversity Consultant is to assess the needs of Law school towards developing and implementing diversity, equity, inclusion & belonging initiatives
- The Diversity Consultant will be expected to commit, on a part-time basis (10-15 hours per month through the term of the agreement), the time and effort required to oversee and guide this assessment and program implementation process, with the direct assistance of the Director of Diversity & Inclusion, who shall be responsible for the hands-on implementation
- Assesses policies and practices, including student and faculty recruitment, with a DEI lens that supports commitment to equity and diversity goals, and tracks accountabilities, metrics, and
accomplishments.
- Oversees the development and implementation of inclusive practices among all stakeholders at Law in collaboration with the school’s leadership.
- Helps ensure diversity goals and initiatives are integrated throughout various departments, including the Admissions Office’s efforts to recruit and retain a diverse class.

[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office premises.
