[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide tax commission legal counsel services to serve as legal advisor to the tax commission regarding the commission powers, duties and responsibilities, legal methods, and procedures, advice and counsel the tax commission on the nation law and order codes (business license, taxation, hemp control ordinance) and on actions taken pursuant to the ordinance’s with related matters at the direction of the tax commission, written legal opinions on varying circumstances; advise and assist the commission in the preparation and/or analysis of various tax commission contracts and other instruments or certificates and handle all legal questions arising from the contracts; assist in drafting correspondence as requested; develop and/or revise a comprehensive tobacco ordinance for the nation; update the current tribal sales tax ordinance to include tobacco tax; keeping confidential records and tax information for clients; communicating and negotiating with federal, state, and local government, evaluating and assessing complicated tax issues to the government authority located in Mayetta, KS.
(2) A mandatory Pre-proposal on-site and/or telecom meeting will be held on February 10, 2020.
[C] Eligibility:
- Onshore (USA Organization Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
