[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide learning management system including the terms ‘system software application’, ‘application’, ‘software application’, or ‘system software’ are referring to the complete LMS. Generally a LMS is indicative of a software application for administration, documentation, tracking, reporting, automation and delivery of educational training classes, courses, and/or programs. The KBI is looking for a LMS that can host virtual training as in the case of a ‘live classroom’ as well as host student paced online training. The LMS should also support in-person features such as a printable roster and submission of assignments.
- when referring to a LMS, a repository of training records and content is automatically included as a representation of the LMS. A repository of training records not only includes future records of training taken or performed using the LMS, but also includes historical training records. It is important for historical training data to be imported. Training records refer to individual user data as well as course and class (e.g. training or educational) data. Ideally, training data held in the repository should be able to be tracked and used for reporting purposes.
- Software Maintenance and Support: - The Vendor must develop and submit for approval a Post-Implementation Support Plan which begins after the warranty has expired and identifies both the Vendor and KBI system maintenance and support activities and responsibilities including costs added to the cost bid, at a minimum this document shall identify the following items for both On-Premise and SaaS solutions:
▪ The Vendor’s methodology and processes for upgrading and enhancing the LMS core software application software (e.g. security, tools, database, etc.);
▪ The Vendor’s on-going responsibilities, including proposed technical support and software maintenance support;
▪ The Vendor’s plan for support and maintenance in the event the company is no longer in business; ▪ Other Vendor solution consulting and support services that are available to KBI; and
▪ KBI responsibilities to maintain on-going operation of LMS software

Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
