[A] Budget: Looking for proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide employee retirement system actuarial consulting services to develop a master plan for public art in Johnson County Park and Recreation District parks and facilities to the government authority located in Shawnee Mission, KS.
- The Master plan will reflect the community’s desire to utilize art and culture to enhance the sense of community; contribute to economic vitality, create and support an environment where art and culture thrive; and enrich the community culturally, aesthetically, educationally and economically. The plan will include a pilot plan or demonstration at Meadowbrook Park.
- Provide professional public art master planning services for the JCPRD Park and Recreation District
- Evaluate JCPRD parks and facilities to identify potential public art sites
- Provide fundraising tools and strategies to leverage implementation of the plan beyond known public CIP funding
- Attend three (3) meetings (minimum) with Public Art Committee and appropriate staff
- Facilitate stakeholder input from related agencies, art groups, and JCPRD staff
- Provide a public engagement process which utilizes various methods to gather input and ideas that are meaningful and representative of the Johnson County community
- Structure the plan to include a more detailed Phase I that looks out 5 years
- Provide a broader plan/roadmap to guide longer-range public art implementation
- Provide a pilot/demonstration template for Meadowbrook Park – this park site has been selected as the first site to take advantage of some restricted funding. Provide guidance on optimal site selection, community engagement approach, Art Selection RFP models, and overall approach recommendations that will inform successful future projects.
- Provide a presentation to the JCPRD Park Board and the Parks & Recreation Foundation of Johnson County
- Provide a final report in digital format

[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
