(1) Vendor needs to provide employee benefit broker services to the government authority located in Topeka, KS.
- Conduct all negotiations with current and new insurance carriers.
- Attend renewal meeting(s) with Metro's current insurance carriers and review claims data and rates.
- Facilitate all benefit renewal negotiations with providers.
- Identify carriers that meets Metro's needs and offers competitive rates.
- Prepare and present benchmarking data.
- Advise Metro on health insurance trends, insurance market conditions, or any other items that may affect Metro's benefits and costs.
- Provide strategic consulting to staff and board members.
- Monitor performance of all Metro plans and provide reports to Metro staff and to the Metro Board of Directors.
- Coordinate open enrollment to communicate benefit changes to employees and prepare annual Employee Benefit Guides.
- Provide ongoing communication and resources for Metro to share with employees related to their benefits.
- Identify risks and opportunities to better manage health care costs.
- Provide compliance and regulatory support.
- Present recommendations to Metro staff and the Metro Board.
- Assist with the development and implementation of a detailed Employee Wellness Program for Metro.
- Provide updates, employee resources, and suggest new ideas for Employee Wellness initiatives.
- Provide ongoing support for the Metro Employee Wellness Program.
(2) All question must be submitted no later than June 26, 2023.
(3) A contract term will be for five years.
