(1) Vendor needs to provide cloud based provide museum online exhibit software.
•Fully Responsive Design: The application should perform on any device or screen size regardless of web browser or operating system.
• Publication Options: The application should allow for web app publishing to the App Store and Google Play for either online and/or offline use. Not only for personal mobile products but also for in-gallery touchscreen devices and kiosks.
• Cloud-Based platform: The application platform should allow for quick, easy access for updating content in real time from any internet connected device without requiring code knowledge. The software should also allow for scalability while delivering automatic enhancements, performance improvements, new feature releases and upgrades on a scheduled basis.
• Media: The application should support a variety of media including embedded images, audio, video, 3D content and text. agency is interested in the ability to also include live lectures and downloadable documents.
• Accessibility: The online interface should comply with WCAG 2.1 AA standards. The application should have the ability to add alt-tags to any image and optimize text size and color contrast.
• Foreign language: agency expects to be able to easily publish the online exhibit in multiple languages
• Design: Agency expects a comprehensive project plan with a discovery and design focused client team to lead layout, style, and interactive concept creation while considering an on-brand look & feel. The application should allow for JCPRD to have granular access control over fonts, colors, page elements, layout configurations, and visual style.
• Search: The application should have extensive controls in the platform to customize what in the app is searchable and how it displays to end users.
• Webforms: Agency expects the application to have the ability to create surveys, custom input fields, or other information collection forms.
• Data & Reporting: The application should include the ability to input Google Analytics and Facebook tracking codes. A full standard set of reports with flexibility for customization and development of reports as needed, especially for tracking user behavior and inputs, is expected.
• Content Gating (Desired): Agency is interested in the potential integration with the Museum's existing membership system, ACTIVENet. With the ability to limit access to content (entire app or specific pages) using gating feature.
