(1) Vendor needs to provide transit network redesign services to the government authority located in Wichita, KS.
• Complete a comprehensive review and analysis of the fixed route transit system, paratransit system, and related public transit services, and its efficiency and effectiveness in meeting community needs;
• Complete public input sessions;
• Examine existing and future markets for transit services and opportunities to better align transit services;
• Identify plans for transit system redesign and service delivery. Examine existing and future funding sources and identify options for improving transit funding sustainability;
• Provide a framework for transitioning from current service to new or revised service adjustments.

- Transition Plan:
- The consultant will develop periodic status reports as identified in the schedule and milestone and a final report that includes:
• An executive summary that relays all pertinent information to the public in an easy-tofollow format as well as a full report summarizing the study process;
• Project objective;
• Relevant data collected;
• Written and graphic description of recommended adjustments;
• Identification and comparison of potential impacts
• Monthly ridership and system performance statistics;
• Automated passenger counter information;
• Data generated by the automated vehicle location (AVL) system, including stop-to-stop running times, schedule adherence, etc.;
• Existing GIS maps of city bus routes and bus stops;
• GIS farebox reports
(2) A pre-proposal conference will be held on May 18, 2023.
(3) All questions must be submitted no later than May 29, 2023.
