Government Authority located in Kansas; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for website redesign and development services using WordPress CMS.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide website redesign and development services using content management system.
- Design, develop, and implement a new website and content management system (CMS) system.
- Greatly improve discovery and access to city information, resources, services and programs content via internal search and external search engine optimization. The city is currently using a chatbot and would be open to recommendations.
- Provide a seamless and integrated experience that provides access to content and resources via a single, easy-to-use city-branded online environment.
- Create a UX that is flexible to the end user’s device context, be it desktop, laptop, tablet, or any other mobile device including browser adaptability to key browsers such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox, etc.
- Design a user-centric and easily updateable solution for providing online help for the city’s digital resources.
- Create a UX that supports the needs of residents and other end users who require accessibility tools to use the site.
- Enable comprehensive translation services for all website content, Spanish in particular.
- Align city branding strategy with a clean, elegant, user-centric design.
- Enable updating the look and feel of the website on an as-needed basis by existing city staff.
- The website should be hosted in AWS. WordPress as development tool is preferred.
- The website should be capable of serving the city with minor updates for five years.
- Media will be offloaded to AWS S3 but should be maintained in WordPress so alt tags can be properly maintained.
- Ability to track detailed entry point information and other analytics to better understand our audience and our website effectiveness.
- Calendar: Update and publish calendars for departments and categories with a main calendar to display all events.
- E-Notifications: Electronic subscription (e.g., new content, agendas, public notice, department updates, careers, etc.), scheduled notifications for email and SMS. The city is currently using Mailchimp and would be open to recommendations.
- Social Media Interface: Display social media feeds.
- Video Center: Live streaming video capabilities.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than December 21, 2022.
(3) A virtual pre-proposal meeting will be held on December 14, 2022.

- Onshore (USA Organization Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
