Vendor needs to provide biological development module (BDM) consulting contract service to the government authority located in Manhattan, KS.
- Equipment needed will be suitable for development of vaccine processes to pilot scale for multiple vaccine platforms (whole virus, bacteria, yeast, mammalian cell culture, killed vaccines, modified live vaccines, subunit and expressed proteins, nucleic acid platforms, etc.).
- Equipment will also be needed for development of biotherapeutics, primarily monoclonal antibody therapies and immune modulators. Equipment necessary for process development, purification, formulation, and analytical development will be needed.
- Equipment for development of diagnostic assays and kits will be needed, including development of lateral flow assays.
- Equipment for synthesis of viral genomes outside of containment will also be needed.
- Development of trafficking procedures for personnel, equipment, and material.
- Procedures for prevention of accidental release of select agents.
- Appropriate training procedures for BDM personnel to use equipment and perform duties inside BDM safely and efficiently.
- Appropriate quality standard for transfer of technology and products to partner facilities throughout the world
- Consideration of GMP, ISO 9001, and any other applicable regulations
- Develop BDM Quality Standard that meets NBAF needs for possible inspection by external regulatory agencies.
