[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide megaproject liaison service to the government authority located in Topeka, KS.
- Seeking a seasoned, successful, and respected leader of megaprojects and suppliers
- Successful candidates must have an established record of overseeing the successful completion of projects deploying large capital investments over $1B and having complex interactions between counties, municipalities, and state agencies.
- Be responsible for holding counties, municipalities, and other stakeholders accountable to their respective roles, including, but not limited to, the facilitation of infrastructure delivery, ensuring the issuance of expediated and compliant permits in all areas of state and local regulation, and resolving local conflicts
- Ensure any associated stakeholders are accountable in their respective roles to enable any APEX qualified firms and qualified suppliers to meet any contractual obligations the companies have with the State
- Communicate effectively with local economic development offices, city councils, commissions, and budget offices.
- Provide regularly scheduled and ad hoc project updates to the Deputy Secretary and any other designated Commerce contacts and recommend courses of action to address developments in a manner which promote the best interest of the State
- Other related duties as become developed during the engagement.

[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office premises.
