[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide employee compensation and benefit consulting services to provide data-driven consulting services for prairie village’s compensation and benefits programs include a comprehensive review of the city’s compensation structure, benefits package, and time off policies, and employee incentive and retention programs to the government authority located in Kansas.
- Work closely with the city’s management team to recommend improvements to the city’s compensation policies and practices for new hires, promotions, merit increases, market cohesion, internal equity analysis, and career progression.
- Conduct a market analysis of all Prairie Village positions.
- Make recommendations on salary structure adjustments and the annual merit pool.
- Conduct a comprehensive review and update of salary structure and pay ranges.
- Review the city’s compensation and benefit policies and practices for compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Comprehensive review of the City’s compensation and benefits package in comparison to the City’s labor market competitors, to include: other municipalities in the Kansas City metropolitan area, regional non-profits, and local for-profit organizations for general industry positions.
- Review the city’s employee benefits, time off, and incentives package and make recommendations for improvements or adjustments to remain competitive and retain high-quality employees.
- Develop communication aids for individual total compensation and benefit reports and summaries.
- Conduct an analysis of total reward benefit trends.
- Conduct a financial impact analysis of recommended changes.
- Provide a presentation to the City’s management team and to the City Council on findings.
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than November 19, 2021

- Onshore (US Organization Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
