Government Authority located in Kansas; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for dental plan claims administration services.
[A] Budget: Looking for proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide dental plan claims administration services.
- The county’s dental plan has been administered by delta dental of state for 25 years.
- The county’s dental plan is self-funded and has been for at least 18 years so looking for an ASO arrangement.
- The county will accept a fully-insured plan if cost-competitive but ASO is initially preferred.
- The county has an overall cost share of 80% employer paid with 20% employee for dental costs.
- The county currently offers two networks offered by DDKS: both the PPO and Premier networks but no plan design differences to encourage steerage.
- Current vendor provides a wellness fund the county uses to promote preventive oral care and targets members who have not received periodic dental services in the past 24 months.
- Eligibility is sent weekly through secured data transfers and this methodology is preferred.
- Current vendor has the ability to provide and benchmark different utilization statistics by demographics using a program called healthentic and a similar analytical tool is desired and preferred.
- The current vendor provides a designated service unit or staff and eligibility person; a similar arrangement is desired.
- Quote matching current plan designs.
- Requesting administrative services only but will consider fully-insured if claims cost-competitive.
- Please detail any differences between the current dental plan and the one you are proposing for the county.
- Include any enhancements and incentive programs.

Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
