[A] Budget: Looking for proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide transfer station operation, hauling, disposal services and recycling processing service to the government authority located in Olathe, KS.
- The contractor will operate the delivery facility during hours of operation sufficient to support the requirements as set forth in the Contract.
- At a minimum, the contractor will accept materials at the delivery facility from Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Central Time and Saturday from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM central time, unless the city provides written approval otherwise.
- If a vendor’s proposed delivery facility is greater than 30 drive-miles from the city of city center, the city reserves the right to require additional minimum operating hours to ensure city vehicles are provided adequate time to deliver program recyclable materials to the delivery facility.
- The contractor shall provide city vehicles access to the delivery facility to deliver loads outside of the hours of operation based on a defined plan that the city will submit to the selected proposer.
- The plan will cover specific situations in which the city may need to access the delivery facility outside of normal operating hours and the selected proposer’s approval of that plan shall not be unreasonably withheld.
- The city may reasonably modify the minimum hours of operation at the delivery facility within thirty calendar days’ notice.
- The contractor’s operating hours beyond those specified in the contract and the defined plan for additional operating hours are at the contractor’s sole discretion.
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than April 16, 2020
(3) Pre-bid meeting will be held on April 14, 2020
