[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide eligibility clearinghouse services eligibility processing services for all Medical programs, and the operation of a call center to the government authority located in Topeka, KS.
- Vendor will be primary lead for processing of Family Medical programs and the State will be the lead for processing of Elderly, Disabled and Long-Term Care Medical programs,
- The Contractor will be responsible for providing support services for all medical programs and processing eligibility for Family Medical programs – Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program,
- Support services and eligibility processing include data entry and registration for all medical programs, screening, request for information and verification, determination of Family Medical/CHIP and communication with the applicants and consumers as well as other third parties,
- The contractor must provide sufficient staffing to operate the customer service center from the hours of 8:00 a.m. CST to 7:00 p.m. CST, Monday through Friday in a manner that meets performance standards,
- Provide a telephonic customer service center: must include a toll-free line, record all incoming and outgoing calls, ability to transfer calls to contract and state staff at multiple locations, provide a language line for non-English speaking persons, provide translation of written materials received and produced.
