[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide economic development business recruitment services to join our team to the government authority located in Topeka, KS.
- The position works to encourage companies with expansion or relocation plans to select state as a location for job creation and facility investment
- The business recruitment consultant manages a portfolio of assigned business client files, defines the client specific site location requirements, develop a formal response to the defined requirements including available properties, applicable incentives, labour availability and business cost factors
- Leads and manages business recruitment projects from start to finish in a timely and professional manner
- Communicates effectively with local economic development communities regarding real estate searches, RFI requests and project updates
- Documents project activity and follow-up in the CRM system
- Serves as an advocate for state to encourage clients to visit communities and make on-site inspections of properties and resources
- Can balance working independently while embracing a team environment within the commerce business development division
- Makes personal calls to site location consultants and companies within an assigned geographic territory with the purpose of developing relationships with these entities that will result in state being considered for site location projects
(2) All question must be submitted no later than August 19, 2019.
[C] Eligibility:
- Onshore (USA Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
