[A] Budget: Looking for proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide pharmaceutical distribution system The system must be able to create customized messages that prompt users to conduct patient assessments, caution users about potential medication errors and provide information on medication use when the user attempts to remove, return or waste a medication.
- The system must be able to alert or warn the user if they are attempting to dispense a medication too close to when it was last dispensed from an automated medication dispensing station in any other care unit in the hospital.
- Must have either locked refrigerator drawers or locking devices that monitor temperatures 24/7 (notify a system administrator of range variances). The system must be able to electronically document storage device temperatures.
- The system must support a centralized computer system for loading of an individual station pocket that is tamper-evident after pharmacist verification.
- The system must have the ability to do barcode scanning and barcode verification for the loading of the machines.
- The system must support double-check of station replenishment by a pharmacist.
- The system must allow for configurability of pockets within a single drawer so that a user can choose from any configuration that is necessary to accommodate the various package sizes, while allowing for single line item access. Additionally, the system must be easily interchangeable to remove a full drawer from one unit to another.
- The system must support positive authentication and validation of users logging into the system. Additionally, the system needs to monitor and track all system access, drawer access via accessible reporting and review processes
- The Supplier must provide at least a warranty followed by a service contract for all equipment that is leased or purchased.
- The supplier must provide a method of providing training on the automation equipment and documentation of training and competencies.
- The system must provide the ability to calculate necessary dosing volume.
- The system must be able to monitor and report the performance of processes that involve risks or sentinel events. Additionally, these reports must be able to be exported in PDF and Excel formats.
- The system must be capable of sending a notification to a hospital employee regarding a system related critical event.
- The system must provide a single management tool that can interface with all devices and all users within the framework allowing it to edit multiple devices in a single event.
- The system must include a built-in printer for each device. Please provide detailed information about the capabilities of the printer.
- The system must provide a rechargeable back-up power supply.
- The system must clearly display when there is additional information available on the next screen.
- The system must provide a multifactor authentication to access the system.
- The system must be able to provide prebuilt reports, custom report capability and chart graphics. Provide a list of standard reports and report formats with available chart graphics.
- The system must be able to suspend the inventory process so nursing can remove a medication and the system must return a user to where the inventory was suspended once inventory is resumed.
- The system must support end user access configurability to limit what medications a user can obtain based on their individual login information.
- The vendor must either provide training to hospital staff so that they can make minor repairs OR must be able to respond on-site to make minor repairs within 24 hours.
- The system must be available in different configurations and be customizable.
- The system must accommodate two secure methods for user login at station.
- The system must be able to track and report on pocket transaction activity.
- The system must have an emergency access back-up procedure.
- The system must be able to manage remote stock.
(2) A mandatory site visit will be held on July 9, 2019.
(3) All question must be submitted no later than July 12, 2019.
(4) The contract term will be for ten years.

Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
