[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide temporary psychiatric and medical services for established on an hourly basis for the various positions listed and should be presented in a range for each position, to define details of the request, such as job tasks, knowledge, skills and certifications required, experience requirements, hours of work, number of individuals needed, expected length of assignment, job-related attire, location, contact person, and any other pertinent information,
- Follows the progress of the patient, assessing the psychiatric and medical conditions and make diagnoses, evaluating the effectiveness of the prescribed regimen and modifying treatment as indicated,
- Orders laboratory tests and other diagnostic procedures,
- Assesses the need for seclusion and restraint and takes responsibility for justifying such treatment,
- Completes mental status examination as often as necessary,
- Consults appropriately with supervisor or other LSH personnel who can provide expertise in special treatment problems, as well as making referrals to consultants as deemed appropriate,
- Quality of patient care delivered is reviewed and evaluated on a regular basis by supervisor and subject to peer review process,
- Carries out medical and psychiatric examination for patients at the time of admission; makes a psychiatric assessment, diagnoses, and formulates the initial treatment plan along with the unit’s treatment team,
- Explains to the patients all prescriptions and procedures; including benefits and risks,
- Patient medical record,
- Psychopharmacology prescribing narcotic and controlled substances may be authorized as directed by the physician to the government authority located in Topeka, KS.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than May 15, 2019.

Performance of the work will be Onsite.
